Training of National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) February 2019

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a survey organized by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) throughout Indonesia specifically designed to collect data that can describe the general state of employment on an ongoing basis. In particular, Sakernas aims to estimate data on the number of working people, the number of unemployed, and other employment indicators and their development at the national, provincial and district / city levels.

Sakernas is held twice a year, ie every February and August. The sample size in the February Sakernas (first semester) was 75,000 households throughout Indonesia. While in August (second semester) the sample size was 300,000 households.

To support the success of Sakernas, BPS of Banjar District held a Sakernas Staff Training on 28 to 30 January 2019, at Hotel Roditha Banjarbaru. This training was opened by the Head of BPS of Banjar Regency, Ms. Nurul Sabah, MP.
