Abstract

Economy of South Kalimantan quarter 1-2013 1-2012 quarter (yoy) grew by 5.56 per cent, with the highest growth in the financial sector, leasing and business services by 10.23 percent and the lowest in the mining and quarrying sector at 2.40 per cent .

Magnitude of South Kalimantan quarter GDP at current prices 1-2013 Rp. 18.35 trillion, while at constant prices (in 2000) to Rp. 8.08 trillion.

Economic growth in South Kalimantan first quarter of 2013, compared with the fourth quarter of 2012 (q-to-q) is minus 7.79 percent, the decline was heavily influenced seasonal growth cycle of the rice plant that this quarter fell 22.25 percent.

In terms of use, which triggered the first quarter 2013 economic growth is negative is the component of government consumption and gross fixed capital formation. Each of the two components is growing -17.57% and -10.13%.

Compared to the same quarter in 2012 (yoy), almost all the components use positive growth except foreign imports.
