Abstract

In May 2013, the Farmers Exchange (NTP) South Kalimantan recorded 105.97, up 0.28 percent compared to April 2013 NTP reached 105.67. NTP is due to rising prices received by farmers index (It) has decreased by 0.08 percent, while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) had a greater reduction is 0.36 percent.

Judging from the sub-sectors, four subsectors of agriculture has increased the NTP and the NTP subsector decreased. Crop sub-sector rose by 0.20 percent, Horticultural Crops sub-sector rose by 0.76 percent, Livestock sub-sector grew by 0.60 percent, and fisheries sub-sector grew by 0.92 percent. Meanwhile, sub Smallholder Crop NTP decreased by 0.88 percent.

The fall in consumer price index for rural households showed a 0.46 percent deflation in the countryside due to the decline in the index of a subgroup of foodstuff by 0.78 percent, so the food subgroup fell by 0.07 percent, housing subgroup fell by 0.18 percent, and subgroup of clothing fell by 0.18 percent. While the health subgroup rose by 0.29 percent, a subgroup of education, recreation and sport increased by 0.34 percent, and transportation and communications subgroup rose by 0.10 percent.

In May 2013, the National, Lampung Province highest NTP increased by 0.85 percent, instead of West Kalimantan Province highest NTP decreased by 0.74 percent.
