Abstract

• In June 2018, in Kota Banjarmasin there was an inflation of 0.98 percent. The calendar inflation rate of 2018 (June 2018 to December 2017) was 1.68 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 2.72 percent. Commodities that experienced price increases with the highest inflation share in the city of Banjarmasin, among others, air transport, hospital tariff, grilled fish, rice with side dishes, chicken meat.
• In Kota Tanjung, in June 2018 experienced inflation of 0.35 percent. The calendar inflation rate of 2018 (June 2018 to December 2017) was inflation of 2.40 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 3.01 percent. Commodities that experienced price increases with the highest inflation rate in Tanjung City include: chicken meat, chicken eggs, long beans, vegetable tomatoes, kale.
• Of 82 cities that calculated the consumer price index, 82 cities experienced inflation, the highest inflation in Tarakan city was 2.71 percent, and the lowest in Medan and Pekanbaru respectively at 0.01 percent.
