Abstract

Traditionally the region`s economic development is a development that is oriented to regional economic growth. The economic growth of a region gives an indication of the economic development process, although the latter is more emphasis oreintasi economic development to improve the welfare of society at large. Welfare orientation becomes more meaningful not just growth, but more emphasis on quality growth that can be enjoyed by the whole community. Therefore, the estuary of the regional economic development is the increased welfare of the people ideally in the region in general.
