- The economy of Kalimantan Selatan in quarter I-2019 was measured by the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) reaching Rp. 41.70 trillion.
- The economy of South Kalimantan in 2019 in the first quarter compared to the same period the previous year (y-on-y) grew by 4.08 percent.
- Meanwhile, when compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q), the economy of South Kalimantan in the first quarter of 2019 fell -5.57 percent.
- In terms of production, in the first quarter of y-on-y in 2019 the category that experienced the highest growth was the category of large trade and retail, car and motorcycle repair. While in terms of expenditure, the largest growth occurred in the component of LNPRT consumption expenditure which reached 11.83 percent.
